Applying hot water can strip your face of its natural oils and damage your skin. Applying ice is even more catastrophic! It can cause severe inflammation and dehydration. Make sure to wash your face using lukewarm water to keep your skin barrier as healthy and intact as possible.


3. Getting obsessed

Getting obsessed can damage your skin, whether it's with a certain ingredient or a specific act in your routine. For example, washing your face more than twice a day can damage your skin barrier and dehydrate your skin, regardless of your skin type.

4. Using Physical Scrubs on Facial Skin

5.Sleeping with Your Makeup On

While makeup itself isn't harmful, sleeping with it is one of the worst mistakes you can ever do to your skin. Imagine sleeping with layers of makeup that may contain comedogenic oils, and God knows what else, sitting on your skin and getting into your pores. Disgusting, right?
